The reasonableness of building layout determines t-he availability of residential quarters more comfortable reside-ntial outdoor wind environment, and good building layout is c-onducive to purify pol uted air in the residential area. In this article, the author analyzes the design and current situation of residential environment, and put forward the measures to creat-e wind environment that suit the southern area in the planning layout of China.
