高端平板显示器的飞速发展使其刷新率越来越高,已经从传统的60Hz上升至120Hz,甚至200Hz。视频流在经过解码之后需要进行视频后处理,即视频质量增强处理。帧速率上变化作为视频后处理(Video Post Processing)算法流水线中的重要组成模块,该算法对视频流进行帧与帧之间的插值,从而完成帧速率的上变化,使视频流的帧速率与显示器的刷新频率匹配。因此,帧速率上变化在视频后处理研究中占有非常重要的地位。本文在研究帧速率上变换算法的框架下,主要研究了以下内容:在自适应十字算法(Adaptive Rood Pattern Search , ARPS)的背景下给出了一种改进的基于自适应十字局部优化算法。该算法采用了搜索起始点处理技术,中值判别技术,以及局部优化方法处理视频图像序列。这些技术的应用可以避免大量的繁琐运算,有效的提高了运算估计得运算效率,能很好的保证了视频序列的质量。从主观评价法、客观比较法的实验结果,表明改进后的算法再一定程度上度上改善了视频的质量。

As the rapid development of high flat panel display, its refresh rate has increased higher and higher from the traditional 60Hz to 120Hz, even to 200Hz. After the video stream is decoded, it is then processed by the post-processing pipeline, namely the video quality enhancement. Frame rate up conversion, as one of the key models in video post processing pipeline, provides new frames between current frame and next frame. As a result, frame rate is up converted and matched with display refresh rate. Thus frame rate up conversion plays an important role in video post processing algorithm research.The contribution of this work mainly contains the following parts:An improved method of local optimization is given under adaptive rood pattern search algorithm. The algorithm adopts the starting point searching processing technology, suspension of identification technology, and local optimization technology to process video stream, which avoids a large number of complicated operations, improves effectively the operational efficiency of motion estimation, and ensures good quality of video sequences. At last, from the subjective evaluation, objective comparison of the experimental results, they both indicate that the improved algorithm improve the image quality to a certain extent.
