随着网络的飞速发展,人们对于通信容量的需求已呈指数增长,需要研究新型的复用方式。本文结合光通信的最新进展,介绍了两种新型的复用形式-空分复用和模式复用。其中模式复用可以达到5.4b/s/Hz 的频谱效率,空分复用的谱效率更是达到了14b/s/Hz。本文从原理和实验两方面对新型的复用形式进行了阐释,揭示了今后光通信复用的方向。?

Due to the rapid spread of Internet services, demand for large transmission capacity has been increasing exponentially. One must consider novel multiplexing methods. In this paper, two brand-new forms-space-division multiplexing and mode multiplexing are introduced, spectra efficiency of which can be increased to 14b/s/Hz and 5.4/s/Hz, respectively. This paper includes both theory and experiment parts, revealing the future direction of optical multiplexing.
