本文分析了路侧净区宽度设计的主要因素,包括驾驶员反应时间、车辆离开道路的状态及车辆在净区内行驶距离。基于宽容设计理念建立了路侧净区计算模型,并结合我国路侧实际情况给出了路侧净区宽度范围,该成果与美国相关研究结论较为接近,与欧盟相比偏安全。本文研究结果可为道路设计者和管理者提供一定的指导或参考。

This paper analysed the main clear zone design parameters, that is, driver reaction time, conditions of vehicle leaving roadway and the driving distance in the clear zone. Based on the tolerance forgiving design concept, this paper set up a calculation model for the roadside clear zone. Combined with the actual instance of roadside situation,the recommended width of roadside clear zone was brought forward. Compared with RISER’s (roadside infrastructure for safer European roads) research, the paper’s conclusion is partial safety, and similar to AASHTO’s (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) research. The conclusions of the study could be a supplementary reference for road designers and administrator.
