对现代包装进行社会评价可促进现代包装的可持续发展，有助于专家学者的理论研究，能提高决策者的战略选择能力，并增强公众的满意度和责任感，因而构建了现代包装的社会评价指标体系。该指标体系建立在遵循科学性原则、实用性原则、定性指标与定量指标相结合的原则、层次性原则和动态性原则的基础上，并确立了环境指标、资源指标、经济指标、功能指标及安全指标等5个一级指标，各一级指标下面还确立了相应的二级指标。

Social evaluation of modern packaging could promote its sustainable development and be conducive to the theoretical researches of specialists and scholars. It could also improve the strategic choice ability of decision-makers and enhance the public degree of satisfaction and sense of responsibility. Therefore, it is essential to build social evaluation index system of modern packaging. Based on scientific and practical principles, combined with quantitative and qualitative analysis, hierarchy and dynamic principles, the evaluation index system consists of five first-grade indexes of environmen-tal index, resource index, economic index, functional rating and safety index with their corresponding second-grade indicators.
