面对中国特色的人口老龄化，以及老人对机构养老的品质需求，机构养老的品质追求成为其发展的核心话题。本研究通过亲身参访台湾养老机构，以台湾恒安集团旗下的台北市兆如老人安养中心为例，提出机构品质养老“需求-要求-追求”三要素理论，即机构养老的品质内涵，对老人来说是需求，对政府来说是要求，对机构来说是追求。结合台湾机构养老经验，以汲取众家之长，为构建中国特色的机构养老品质之路提供借鉴与指导。
