敦煌大方盘城（昌安仓）被斯坦因定名为河仓城。后来李正宇先生推翻了斯坦因的谬说，才由敦煌市博物馆开始寻找真正的河仓城。2005年七八月间，敦煌市博物馆在玉门都尉府以西的榆树泉盆地发现了一座古城，其位置、规模、保存现状，与敦煌文献《沙州都督府图经》、《敦煌录》、《沙州归义军图经略抄》中有关河仓城的记载是一致的。本文就2005年发现的古城为河仓城作一考述。

Since the Dangfangpan city in Dunhuang was identified as the Hecang city by Aurel Stein, the real Hecang city gradually faded out of people’s sight. Later, Mr. Li Zhengyu corrected this error made by Stein, and the Dunhuang Museum began to search for the real site of Hecang. In July-August 2005, an ancient city site was found by the Dunhuang Museum in the basin of the Yulinquan extending west to the Yumen. This site is consistent with the records in various Dunhuang documents about Hecang in location, size, and preservation condition. This paper aims to explain why it should be identified as the site of the real Hecang city.
