定义是问题研究的逻辑起点，概念的定义含糊不清，表述紊乱不利于问题的深入探讨。社会评论的定义就存在着这样的问题，具体表现有社会评论与其他类型评论存在何种关系，特别是它与新闻评论之间的关系，以及社会评论分类及归属混乱等，这将对评论的实践产生着不可忽视的影响。回答这些问题，首先应厘清社会评论概念的外延与内涵。

The definition is the logical starting point in research;it’s not conducive to solve the problem, if the concept of definition is vague, and expressed disorderly. The definition of social commentary has similar problems, namely, a messy relationship between social commentary and other types of reviews, between news commentary and social one; chaotic classification and attribution of social commentary, etc. these problems can bring negative effects on the practice of social commentary. To answer these questions, we need to first of all clarify the extension and connotation of the concept of social commentary.
