Traditional furnace can't control small flow fuel and air flow rate very well when the caloric value of gas is relative higher. This paper discusses the renovation of a certain medium rolling plant and introduces pulse mode furnace and its control system. It can achieve safety and economical burning and provide both practical and theoretical base for the implementation of this type of pro-ject.
