With the development of communication technology, the domestic mobile communication network will face 2G/3G/LTE/WLAN multi-network cooperation construction. The increasing network multiplexing degree also has new requirements for the construction of base station room. Firstly, the development history of base station room is given. Secondly the typical types as well as the advantages and disadvantages of base station room at the present stage are introduced, then the development background and trend of communication industry are studied. Finally, the development trend of the future base station room is summarized, while the impact of the future base station room on the existing network is illustrated.
