The strategy research in the virtual environment based on application-oriented undergraduate education mainly includes the development process of teaching ideas and the analysis on the situation of teaching strategy research in recent years. Combining with the specific object of application-oriented undergraduate e-ducation, new ideas of teaching strategy are proposed, such as the changes of teachers and students' roles in the reform of teaching structures, the diversity of teaching contents and means, and the realization of the learning and development of knowledge in breadth and depth with the use of microteaching in teaching methods and strategies.
