This paper introduced the modified atmosphere of the concept, methods and the requirement of controlled atmosphere storage warehouse. Expounded the modified atmosphere can effectively extend the shelf life of fruits storage and guarantee its principal advantage of the best quality. To show modified atmosphere is one of the most advanced fruit preservation method in the world. Through the analysis of the first gas refrigeration CA library which set up in shandong province,combineded with some of the related technologies at domestic and foreign to drive the use and developing technology of modified atmosphere in other parts of China.
