The mainpoints of foundry technology design of V type cylinder block of diesel engine have been expounded with emphasis on the developing process of coremaking of large cylinder and cores group. With process test and verification, such technology has met with the requirements for product specification and resulted in precise blank dimension, high production efficiency and less defects of castings.
