文章以湖北省宜昌市风化砂改良膨胀土为研究对象,通过在膨胀土中掺入10%、20%、30%、40%、50%的风化砂,改变试样的初始干密度,然后进行收缩试验。研究结果表明:风化砂可以明显抑制膨胀土的收缩特性,初始干密度对风化砂改良膨胀土的收缩指标有显著影响,风化砂改良膨胀土在做公路路基时控制好初始干密度(压实度),可以保证胀缩变形达到规范要求;在初始干密度一定时,随着掺砂比例的增加,风化砂改良膨胀土的收缩系数、线缩率、体缩率和胀缩总率均显著降低,而缩限有一定的提高;在掺砂比例一定时,随着初始干密度的增大,风化砂改良膨胀土的缩限、体缩率逐渐减小,线缩率、收缩系数、胀缩总率逐渐增大。

Taking the weathered sand improved expansive soil in Yichang City ,Hubei Province as the research object ,the expansive soil was mixed with the weathered sand in percentages of 10% ,20% , 30% ,40% ,50% ,and the initial dry density of the sample was changed for shrinkage test .The re-sults show that the weathered sand can obviously inhibit the shrinkage characteristic of the expansive soil ,and the initial dry density has remarkable effect on the shrinkage index of the weathered sand im-proved expansive soil .When the weathered sand improved expansive soil is used in highway subgrade , the proper initial dry density can make the swell-shrink deformation meet the specification require-ments .When the initial dry density is constant ,with the increase of sand proportion ,the shrinkage coefficient ,linear shrinkage ratio ,volume shrinkage ratio and swell-shrink total ratio of the weathered sand improved expansive soil decrease significantly ,w hile the shrinkage limit increases to a certain de-gree .When the sand proportion is constant ,with the increase of the initial dry density ,the shrinkage limit and volume shrinkage ratio of the weathered sand improved expansive soil decrease gradually , while the linear shrinkage ratio ,shrinkage coefficient and swell-shrink total ratio increase gradually .
