This paper systematically introduced the design calculation, selection of cross section of steel crane beam, and the support section form of large span crane beam, and combining with the engineering example, simply compared the relationship of crane beam span and steel con- sumption, so that people had a preliminary understanding to the design and structure of solid-web steel crane beam.
