Deepwater Pipelay Crane Vessel “HAI YANG SHI YOU 201” is the first DP-3 class deepwater construction vessel in China. Taking the practice of project management and construction process as a starting point, this paper mainly introduces the installation and management of main thruster system and corresponding components, which will provide important reference for future project management of main thruster system installation.
