Benevolence is the core of Confucianism and Qilu culture(Shandong culture),which emphasizes the value of be-ing lovingly disposed to people generally,and kind to creatures ,pays close attention to the value of mankind and advocates The unity of heaven and humanity.Its starting point is humankind’s moral requirements and the foothold is maintaining human dignity and the bottom line of all human and the sharp criticism to human nature.Both the humanity of caring for life,respect-ing the natural and modern humanitarianism spirit are interlinked and can be traced to the same origin.Qilu culture is influenced by the modern writer in Shandong,reflecting the one thousand years Confucian spiritual in the novels combining with 20 centu-ry modern humanitarianism spirit.
