清华简《系年》简文的出现不但证实了周初大保簋铭文中所见的“录子圣”即为传世文献中的武庚，亦为认识和了解周初的“武庚之乱”提供了更多的历史信息。结合简文和西周金文来看，这场商室贵族发动的叛乱有其内在更为深刻的原因，成王之世的东征不仅仅是平定叛乱，更是通过武力征服的方式正式确立西周在东方的统治地位。

The found of XiNian on the bamboo slips collected by Qinghua University not only confirms the identity of Wu-geng in classical documents,but also provides historical information about Wugeng rebellion.There are some deep reasons of this rebellion that initiated by Shang royal nobles from the bamboo slips and Western Zhou bronze inscriptions.The purpose of King Cheng’s eastern expedition is not only for the pacification of rebellion but also the establishment of domination.
