At present, GPS has been widely used in horizontal control survey. However, the resource of GPS elevation is wasteful for underutilization, especially in topograph project(GPS elevation are almost underused). This paper makes a discussion on application methods of GPS elevation and the frequently-used height fitting model in specific project.
