In this paper, combined with the characteristics of the Resources Environment and the Management of Urban and Rural Planning and the employment of graduates,the author explores the idea of reform of the profession, proposes that the profession can be divided into three directions:land management, urban planning and environmental protection. This will make this major possess more professional features, improve teaching effect and make students' learning and employment more targeted.
