通过分析《浮生六记》两个英译本中存在的显化现象,发现两译本在进行语用显化时对隐含文化信息的处理方式不同。研究发现两译文之所以在处理隐含文化信息时表现出差异性,主要是因为译者受到了各自翻译目的影响,不同的翻译目的使他们在语用显化方面做出了不同的选择。

This essay analyzes the explicitation of the two versions of Six Chapters of a Floating Life and finds that the translators take different ways to deal with the related cultural information when they process the pragmatic explicitation.According to the research,the translations show differences when referring to the implied cultural information for the main reason that the translators have their respective translation purposes,and the different translation purposes drive the translators to adopt different strategies in pragmatic explicitation.
