符号的意义取决于具体语境。罗兰·巴特的文化意指分析基本模式从符号学视角出发剖析了文化符号与语境在横组合和纵聚合两个向度上的互动关系。在这两个向度上，符号会按照具体语境的叙事结构和象征结构产生出特定的逻辑意义和象征意义，呈现多样化的意义。在跨文化传播的情况下，文化符号处于和不同文化语境的对话过程中，在不同语境中会存在不同的意义呈现，很可能产生不同程度的“文化折射”现象，此时应遵照目标语境的横组合和纵聚合规则序化叙事结构和类比化象征结构，才能最大程度地提升文化符号与语境的有效互动，保证受众对文化符号意义的预期建构。

The meanings of signs depend on specific context .This paper probes into the interactive rela-tionship between signs and context in two dimensions , i.e.syntagmatic order and the paradigmatic order , with Roland Barthes ’ cultural signification analysis .It finds out that the signs will display various mean-ings according to the specific rules of narrative structure and symbolic structure in specific context .In the circumstance of intercultural communication , cultural signs interact with various contexts , and produce different meanings , which may cause the meaning loss or misunderstanding .Cultural signs should be ad-justed according to the target context ’ s related rules , which is re-ordering narrative structure and analo-gizing symbolic signs .
