　　利奇提出的礼貌原则体现了一些西方语言学中的交际准则。中国道家著名经典《道德经》也体现了东方中国的一些交际准则。研究表明，两种交际准则具有一定的相似性和相关性。试从语言学的视角对比东西方两种交际准则，了解这两种准则的相似之处，进而从一个新的视角对《道德经》进行解读。

The Politeness Principle (PP) proposed by Leech embodies some communicative maxims in linguistics in the West, while Classic the Way and Virtue, a classical masterpiece of Taoism represents some Chinese communicative tenets in the Orient as well.It is proved that these two principles are similar and relevant .From a linguistic point of view, by a compari-son of the principles of communication (both verbal and non -verbal) in the West and the East , the similarities between the two major types of philosophical concepts can be found out .
