Importance of beam quality evaluation for production, manufacture and quality control of laser medical equipment is analyzed. And then, different beam quality factors and their signiifcance for various medical laser equipment are proposed, which help to strengthen and improve the effective quality control of the laser beam quality in the future. This study can also be the references of preparation and revision for related standards.
