Arterial spin labeling(ASL) technique is a kind of perfusion functional magnetic resonance imaging method, which is based on endogenous contrast, and it can measure cerebral blood lfow(CBF) noninvasively. 3D whole-brain ASL is a new volume imaging which breaks through many limits of 2D ASL. This paper discusses advantage and clinical application of 3D ASL in brain tumors.
