批判性思维是指对信息进行判断、评价和决策的思维能力；研究型教学的本质在于使学生在教师的引导下，主动地去探索、发现、理解和评价所学知识。本文从研究型教学的基本特征出发，将其与大学英语教学有机结合，试图探析一种新的研究型教学模式，提出实施过程中应注意的问题，并探讨在该种模式中如何提高并培养学生的批判性思维能力。

Critical thinking refers to judgment, evaluation and decision-making thinking ability of information;the essence of research teaching is to make students take the initiative to explore, discover, understand and evaluate the knowledge under the guidance of teachers. In this paper, from the basic characteristics of research teaching, the organic combination of university English teaching, tries to explore a new teaching mode, should pay attention to the problems in the implementation process, and to explore how to improve and cultivate students' critical thinking ability in this model.
