＂折＂的变声构词揭示了它的音义特点和历史演变。在汉语史上,＂折＂的原始词和滋生词始终使用同一个汉字记录,其读音则一直表现为别义异读。＂折＂的变声构词也反映了上古汉语词义孳乳的一种方式。

Taking advantage of modern linguistic means, this paper carrys on a comprehensive and detailed exploration on derivation by initial-change of zhe （折）, reveals its features of Sound and meaning and summarizes its historical evolution. The basic form and derived form of zhe（折） was recorded by the same character in the history of Chinese, and formed the yidu（异读） in Old Chinese. The derivation by initial-change of zhe （折） also reflects the feature of developing in meaning.
