时间以抽象的概念存在于人类的认知世界中,人类具有相同的时间感知能力,但时间反映在具体语言中却有不同的表达方式。文章通过英汉在时间表达差异的描写,尝试分析英汉在时间表达方式存在差异的原因。从语言形式结构出发,分析英汉时间表达方式差异的表层原因,从哲学、文化、思维角度分析英汉时间表达差异的深层原因。

Time is an Abstract concept existed in human cognition world.Human beings have the same ability to perceive time,but it has a different way of expressing in specific language.This article tries to analyze the reasons that cause different ways of time expression between English and Chinese,through describing the differences in expression of time between English and Chinese,and analyzing surface reasons that cause different expression of time between English and Chinese from the language form to structure.From philosophy,culture and way of thinking,analyze deep reasons that cause different time expression between English and Chinese.
