煤矿区煤层气开发利用是指结合煤炭生产布局而开展的一系列煤层气开发利用活动。煤炭行业占煤层气地面产气量的半壁江山，但地面产气量离?煤层气(煤矿瓦斯)开发利用“十二五”规划?目标较远；井下抽采量有望达到目标，但利用率需实现突破。分析了煤矿区煤层气开发利用中面临的地质条件复杂、矿权之争、经济效益差、行业标准需跟进等方面制约因素，提出应协调好各方利益关系、实行两条腿走路、提高补贴力度、缩短审批周期、加快标准制定和加大科技投入等发展建议。
