在2013年11月至2014年5月对洪潮江水库进行水质和水生态调查，调查结果表明，洪潮江水库处于中营养化状态，总磷变动于0.053～0.103 mg/L之间，总氮变动于0.53～0.81mg/L之间，浮游植物密度平均为134.70×104ind./L，生物量为1.47mg/L，浮游动物密度平均为883 ind./L，生物量为2.05mg/L，库区水土流失和工农业污染是营养盐主要来源，库区生态养殖在枯水期磷含量增加的情况下，抑制了浮游生物的生长，防止了“水华”的产生。
재2013년11월지2014년5월대홍조강수고진행수질화수생태조사，조사결과표명，홍조강수고처우중영양화상태，총린변동우0.053～0.103 mg/L지간，총담변동우0.53～0.81mg/L지간，부유식물밀도평균위134.70×104ind./L，생물량위1.47mg/L，부유동물밀도평균위883 ind./L，생물량위2.05mg/L，고구수토류실화공농업오염시영양염주요래원，고구생태양식재고수기린함량증가적정황하，억제료부유생물적생장，방지료“수화”적산생。
An investigation included water quality and aquatic ecosystems was carried out in Hongchaojiang reservoir,from November 2013 to May 2014.Survey results showed that the Hongchaojiang reservoir was mesotropher, total phosphorus changes in the 0.053~0.103 mg/L,TN movements between 0.53~0.81mg/L,phytoplankton density averaged 134.70×104ind./L,biomass was 1.47mg/L, zooplankton densities averaged 883 ind./L, biomass was 2.05mg/L, industrial and agricultural pollution and soil erosion is the main source of nutrients, ecological farming inhibits the growth of plankton, prevents the "blooms" generation when phosphorus content increases in the dry season.
