钱钟书《谈艺录》评陆游诗“好谈匡救之略,心性之学”,“大言恫吓”、“夸词入诞”,谓其毕生抒发爱国情怀的绝大部分诗篇都是“作态”、“作假”,如果真让陆游领兵抗金,必然失败。然而,陆游自幼接受儒家思想教育,忧国忧民,知行合一,其伐金计划与治国方略皆通察时局、老谋深算,却不被朝廷采纳,终其一生得不到重用,只能在诗中抒写抱负、寄托理想。钱钟书只读陆游之诗,对陆游的家世、才能和生平行事不作全面深入的考察,以假设、猜想代替事实判断,厚诬昔贤,违背了治学必须求真求实的基本规律。受“五四”以来西学风气影响,钱钟书不关注儒学义理,论学割裂诗文与经史的关系,只识词章之美,不明至善之道,致有是论。
錢鐘書《談藝錄》評陸遊詩“好談劻救之略,心性之學”,“大言恫嚇”、“誇詞入誕”,謂其畢生抒髮愛國情懷的絕大部分詩篇都是“作態”、“作假”,如果真讓陸遊領兵抗金,必然失敗。然而,陸遊自幼接受儒傢思想教育,憂國憂民,知行閤一,其伐金計劃與治國方略皆通察時跼、老謀深算,卻不被朝廷採納,終其一生得不到重用,隻能在詩中抒寫抱負、寄託理想。錢鐘書隻讀陸遊之詩,對陸遊的傢世、纔能和生平行事不作全麵深入的攷察,以假設、猜想代替事實判斷,厚誣昔賢,違揹瞭治學必鬚求真求實的基本規律。受“五四”以來西學風氣影響,錢鐘書不關註儒學義理,論學割裂詩文與經史的關繫,隻識詞章之美,不明至善之道,緻有是論。
전종서《담예록》평륙유시“호담광구지략,심성지학”,“대언통하”、“과사입탄”,위기필생서발애국정부적절대부분시편도시“작태”、“작가”,여과진양륙유령병항금,필연실패。연이,륙유자유접수유가사상교육,우국우민,지행합일,기벌금계화여치국방략개통찰시국、로모심산,각불피조정채납,종기일생득불도중용,지능재시중서사포부、기탁이상。전종서지독륙유지시,대륙유적가세、재능화생평행사불작전면심입적고찰,이가설、시상대체사실판단,후무석현,위배료치학필수구진구실적기본규률。수“오사”이래서학풍기영향,전종서불관주유학의리,론학할렬시문여경사적관계,지식사장지미,불명지선지도,치유시론。
In his“Tan Yi Lu”, Qian Zhong-shu made such comments on Lu You’s poems:“fond of talking about salvation strategy and the Disposition Theory”,“a big talk to intimidate”,“absurd praise words”, referring to most of his poems which expressed his lifelong patriotic emotions as“pretentious”and“unreal”. Qian assumed that if Lu You had really led the troops to fight against the country JIN, he would have ended in failure. In fact, ever since childhood, Lu You had been soaked up in Confucian thoughts, showing con-cern for the fate of his nation, combining his knowledge with his acts. His plan to fight against JIN and his strat-egy to govern the country was calculated and astute, showing a full understanding of the situations. But he was not put in an important post all his life, his plan not adopted by the imperial court. So he found expression of his ambition and ideal in poems. Qian Zhong-shu read his poems, but did not get to know his family back-grounds, his talents and personality, basing his comments on supposition rather than facts, thus violating the ba-sic law of truth-seeking. Since the May Fourth Movement, influenced by Western learning, Qian showed little attention for Confucian principles and separated the relationship of poetry and history, failing to grasp the way of supreme good, thus leading to such comments.
