个人知识可分为集中意识与支援意识。支援意识为集中意识提供知识基础与设定正确方向。支援意识通过援借政治经济、历史文化、民族宗教的知识基础与研究方法,有助于深刻理解东盟国家某些独特的法律制度。支援意识的养成与开发应以通识教育为养料、原典阅读为根基、反思重构为升华。

A person’ s knowledge is comprised of the subsidiary awareness and focal awareness, in which his subsidiary aware-ness plays a predominating role in providing basic knowledge and predetermining the direction for his focal awareness. Based on background knowledge of politics, economy, history, culture, nationality and religions, a researcher’ s subsidiary awareness can be helpful for understanding some particular legal systems of ASEAN. The acquisition and development of a researcher’ s subsidiary awareness can be achieved through enhancing common sense, reading classic canons, reviewing and reconstructing the existing law systems.
