The paper analyzes the current situation and problems of automobile manufacturing and assembly specialty at higher vocational schools , such as outdated teaching methods and loose connection between theory and practice .By taking automobile parts assembly as an example , the paper proposes technologies and methods of improving theory and practice teaching with virtual reality technology at higher vocational schools .
