This paper compared two versions of Euro -NCAP pedestrian protection testing protocols ( v6. 2 and v7 .0 ) , focusing on the differences such as green default definition , grid-point for legform and upper leg-form tests, biofidelic flexible legform and principle of assessment , and made a brief introduction of biofidelic flexible legform.Grid-points assessment method was used to evaluate the performance of legform tests .With the wider use of grid point , Euro NCAP v7 .0 emphasizes more about the CAE simulation ability and testing ability of the manufacturers.
