This paper described test research for electronic control silicone oil fan to improve vehicle fuel consumption. The results showed that vehicle constant speed fuel consumption was saved by 4-5% & plain freeway fuel consumption was saved by 3% when electronic control silicone oil fan was assembled into 8.9 L engine instead of temperature control silicone oil fan.
