It describes an ASIC chip MPR2 mainly used in General Purpose Powder Diffractometer readout elec-tronics system of Chinese Spallation Neutron Source .The chip contains both analog and digital parts .The ana-log part integrated 64channels, upgrading from the chip MAPMTROC designed for MAPMT .Each channel con-tains a preamplifier based on current convey , a RC integrator circuit , a CR-RC integrator -shaping circuit and a comparator , to respectively achieve the gain adjustment , integral , integral-shaping and screening out-put .The digital part converts the screening outputs parallel to serial .The chip is designed to effectively screen neutron and gamma signal , and give the time and location information of the neutron signal .
