针对某双吸离心通风机,生产企业为节约成本,对风机轴向尺寸、进气室和蜗壳形线等结构参数进行了重新设计。为验证改进方案是否对风机气动性能产生较大影响,本文对原型风机和改进后风机的流场进行数值模拟,并在此基础上分析了相关流动特征及外特性之间的关联性。研究结果表明改进后的风机气动性能大幅下降,流场细节的对比分析发现进气室和蜗壳的改进对风机性能的负面影响最大。最后对风机气动性能的后续改进提出建议。

The structural parameters of a double suction centrifugal fan are re-designed in the consideration of reducing produc-tion cost.To understand the effects of structure improvement on the fan aerodynamic performance , a research is carried out using computational fluid dynamics method .The numerical analysis of the two fan models implies that the newly designed fan is inferior to the original one in the aspect of aerodynamic performance , and the detailed flow field shows the inlet chamber and volute are responsible for the decrease of performance .Finally, some guidance on the improvement of fan aerodynamic performance is pro-posed.
