The paper evaluates the highway bridge bearing capacity according to the loading test evaluation methods recently issued in JTG/T J21-2011 Highway Bridge Bearing Detection and Evaluation Regulations. It obtains natural bridge frequency with dynamic loading test, modifies the finite element model, and then obtains the verification coefficient of actual detecting reflection, strain and theoretical calculation value of stat- ic loading test, and finally assesses the bridge bearing capacity, which has provided theoretical basis for bridge detection.
