The construction of harmonious campus is an important part of building harmonious society as it can enhance the core competitiveness of colleges and universities,create human environment for people on campus and promote their development.New upgraded second-ranking universities,though having gone through the transition from college to university,still encounter many problems in the construction of harmonious campus.There are paths for the construction：adhere to the scientific concept of development as guidance;seek for construction of harmonious campus through scientific planning;give full play of teaching faculty and students＇ownership sense to make them actively engage in the construction;intensify investment into campus construction to improve teaching conditions;strengthen the construction of campus culture to cultivate humane spirit.
