为加快鄂尔多斯盆地南缘中生界石油勘探开发步伐，寻求新的突破，本项目旨在采用新理念、新思路，分析、认识该地区的石油地质特征、成藏规律、砂体展布和储层特征，优选评价有利勘探目标区，为鄂尔多斯盆地南缘的石油储量增长提供技术支持。通过研究得出，彬长区块油气富集主控因素有三个方面：有利相带、局部构造背景、断裂及裂缝，本文论述指明断裂及裂缝主要控制本区油气富集，并指出下步勘探的有利方向。
