随着经济水平的不断发展，对人才的综合要求不断提高，不仅要求学生掌握基础理论知识，还要培养实践能力，养成良好学习习惯和学习意识。电脑网络技术的不断发展，也使得教学形式和工具更加丰富。艺术类高校相对于其他类型高校来说，有特殊性。一方面艺术类高校学生的学习基础普遍较差，学习习惯较坏，学习能力也较弱。另一方面对艺术类高校学生的实践应用能力，也有了更高要求，因此，在电脑网络环境环境下，艺术类高校有效实施ESP教学模式有着重要意义。该文拟从ESP教学模式的定义和内容入手，进而结合电脑网络环境，为艺术类高校有效开展ESP教学模式提供相应对策。
