This paper analyzed the development status of bamboo industry and the meaning and advantages of bamboo industry in Yong'an City.In view of the existing problems of bamboo furniture industry such as the small scale , the poor capability of independ-ent innovation , technological backwardness , inadequate policy and system and etc , and posed the countermeasures such as positio-ning accurately, perfecting the system ,cultivating leading enterprises, establishing brand awareness, and improving the scientific and technological content and so on .
