Based on the investigation of the existing peanut harvesting machinery at home and abroad, this article gives a brief introduc-tion of the development of peanut harvesting machinery and operation mode. The types of peanut harvesting machinery, the structure characteristics, working principles and adaptability of various operation modes are discussed in a bid to provide a theoretical basis for the development and improvement of peanut harvesting machinery suitable to the situation of China.
