In a new era of ecological civilization, it is still of great significance in the exploration of the development of Chinese classical gardens and its construction, artistic conception, aesthetic culture, law and psychology. This article reviews the development of China's modern landscape design and existent problems in the form, style, culture and other aspects in this field, makes analysis of the signifi-cance and roles of Chinese classical gardens in modern landscape design in terms of development and innovation, in order to make the Chinese garden obtain a better inheritance and development, and improve China's modern landscape planning.
