The instrumental analysis technology of rubber additives and relevant testing standards were introduced, and the signiifcance of rubber additive testing was demonstrated. Commonly used qualitative and quantitative analysis methods were discussed, for example, infrared spectroscopy (IR) and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). A brief description of the basic performance assessment process of rubber additives was presented.
