以郑州市为例，通过与上海和武汉的比较，分析了内陆区域中心城市工业转型升级的特征与问题。发现自2000年以来，郑州市工业转型速度在减缓，目前已呈现出以装备制造业为中心的重工业化迹象。但装备制造业在其制造业内部的主导地位正逐步弱化；制造业的高加工度化不仅低于上海、武汉，而且差距呈扩大趋势；原材料工业在郑州市制造业中的比重最大，其次是重加工业，而以非农产品为原材料的轻加工业的比重较低。劳动密集型部门一直在其制造业中占据主导地位，并且呈持续增加态势。

By comparison with the Shanghai and Wuhan , the paper studies the characteristics and problems of the industriy transformation and upgrading of Zhengzhou---the Regional Central Urban in Chinese Inland Areas .We found that the industry transformation speed is slowing since 2000 , it now has emerged the signs of heavy industrialization which the equipment manufacturing is its center , but the dominance of the equipment manufacturing in manufacturing is gradually weakening .The degree of high processing of the manufacturing sector in Zhengzhou is lower than Shanghai , Wuhan , and the gap was widening .Raw material industries still accounted for the largest proportion of manufacturing industry in Zhengzhou , followed by heavy industries , while the proportion of light industry which used by non -agricultural products as raw materials is lower .Labor-intensive sectors has been dominant in its manufacturing , and showed a sustained increase in the trend .
