The different features and supercritical unit RB test characteristics of direct-firing & medium-speed and double in/out ball mill in coal pulverizing system are introduced in this article. The impacts of different fuel control strategies on the unit are also compared and analyzed and the suggestions on the common RB design problems that will reduce the risk of flame failures in boilers are provided.
