大学生村官作为农村发展的生力军充实农村科技服务力量，发挥农村科技信息员、农业科技推广员和农村科技致富领头人的作用，但是大学生村官在农村科技服务中面临能力不足、方式欠佳、基础薄弱、机制缺失等困境。对此，只有提高大学生村官农村科技服务能力、改进大学生村官农村科技服务方式、夯实大学生村官农村科技服务基础、健全大学生村官农村科技服务机制，才能让大学生村官扎根农村，更好地开展农村科技服务。
