随着我国城镇化和工业化的不断深入，新生代农民工已经成为我国产业工人的主体，他们开始要求获得与自身发展相适应的政治、经济和社会地位，因而市民化意愿日趋强烈。但是，由于我国城市化水平较低，以及户籍、就业、社会保障、教育等旧有体制的桎梏，新生代农民工市民化进程依然面临困境。应统筹各方面力量，改革户籍制度、加强对农民工的技能培训、解决其子女义务教育和升学问题、建立统一的社会保障和支持体系等，加快新生代农民工的市民化进程。

With the deepening of the urbanization and industrialization in our country, the new generation of migrant workers has be-come the main body of industrial workers in China. They start to ask for the political and economic and social status adapting to their contribution, and urbanization will become increasingly intense. However, due to the low level of urbanization in our country, as well as household register, employment, social security, education and other institutional barriers, the new generation migrant workers in the ur-banization process still face many difficulties and many problems need to solve. This paper puts forward the reform of the household reg-istration system and strengthening skill training, improve the social security system, to solve their children ’s compulsory education, safe-guard legitimate rights and interests, etc.
