In photoelectric effect experiment ,a theoretical model of the equivalent resistance was put forwarded .The relationship between equivalent resistance and light intensity was proved experi-mentally ,a linear relation between additional current and light intensity was deduced ,and the rela-tionship between equivalent resistance and diaphragm area was also estimated .As a result ,the change of cut-off voltage with the intensity of incident light was well explained .
